Summer Work Experience Placements
We are able to offer a limited number of placements each year for students at school, college or university levels. Our goal is to provide you with work experience appropriate to your age, interests and skills. If you are considering law as a career, or if you have an interest in information technology, accounting and bookkeeping, marketing or business administration, refer to the ‘Positions Available’ section of the website and complete the relevant application form.
Please note that all summer positions are limited to students from the local jurisdiction.
Summer Associates – Bermuda and Cayman Offices
If law is your chosen career and you have completed the first year of law school, our Bermuda and Cayman offices can offer students a summer placement working directly with a lawyer. Cayman students must have local residency, and applicants in Bermuda must be Bermudian or the spouse of a Bermudian. Our summer programme includes seminars led by senior lawyers, access to our extensive law library and on-line databanks, networking opportunities and summer social events.
Legal Exposure Programme – Bermuda Office
Are you interested in law, but have not yet decided about or entered law school? This two week programme in Bermuda will enable you to learn more about what lawyers do and find out about the various areas of practice. The programme is meant to expose you to the profession of law to help you make your future decisions. As with summer associates, this programme is only open to Bermudians or spouses of Bermudians.
