Personal Law
The Personal Law Team is dedicated to the dispute-resolution and related needs of our individual, rather than corporate and institutional clients. Our lawyers are very experienced in representing both defendants and plaintiffs. Areas of service include:
- Family Law including adoption, maintenance, custody and access rights and other issues related to children
- Human Rights
- Matrimonial proceedings including ancillary relief, pre-nuptials, co-habitation agreements, separations and emergency injunctive relief
Our team in Jersey also has a highly-regarded criminal law practice, including money laundering, fraud, licensing issues, and drug-related offences.
In Jersey, another very important area of service is Legal Aid. Since such services are not supported by public funds, the legal system relies on locally-qualified lawyers and advocates to represent those people who cannot afford a lawyer. We are committed to supporting our local community and take this function and our devotion to service excellence very seriously.
