Appleby wins ALB HK Debt Market Deal of the Year 2009

Appleby has won Debt Market Deal of the Year at the ALB HK Law Awards 2009.

The winning deal was:

Champion REIT

Firms: Appleby; Baker & McKenzie; Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer; JSM; Simmons & Simmons

Banks: Citi; HSBC Institution Trust

Accountant: Deloitte

The winners were announced at the Awards ceremony on 18 September 2009 at the Conrad Hotel, Hong Kong. Appleby partners Jeffrey Kirk and Judy Lee were in attendance.

Appleby were also shortlisted for the Offshore Law Firm of the Year category.
